What we collect
When you search a username, we send it to a third-party data provider to fetch public Instagram profile information (follower/following counts and, if you unlock the full list, the usernames involved). We don't require an account, email, or any personal details to use the site.
The free ZIP upload
If you use the "completely free" option, your Instagram data export is read entirely in your own browser using JavaScript. The file is never uploaded to our servers — we have no way to see or store it. We do count how many times the ZIP tool gets used, but that's just a tally: no usernames, no counts from your file, nothing from inside it.
How long we keep your result
A scan takes a minute or two, and connections drop. So when a paid scan finishes, we hold the result for 30 minutes, tied to your payment reference — that way an accidental refresh or a lost connection doesn't cost you the scan you paid for. After 30 minutes it's deleted automatically. We don't keep it, we don't attach your name or email to it, and nothing carries over to your next scan.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which features they use. It's cookieless and doesn't build a profile of you or follow you across other sites. We record simple events like "someone ran a check" — never the account you searched for or any result.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your card details — Stripe handles that directly and securely. We retain only what's needed to confirm a payment succeeded (a transaction reference), not your card information.
Advertising
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to personalize ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can manage ad personalization in your Google Ads Settings.
Accuracy
We pull data through a third-party provider and run multiple verification passes before showing you a result. Even so, out of a few hundred followers, you might occasionally see one small inaccuracy — usually because an account was deactivated, banned, or something else changed after being counted. If something looks off, running the check again usually resolves it.
What we don't do
We don't require registration, don't sell your data, and don't keep a database of who searched what. Instagram usernames you search are used only to generate your result.
